Understanding Each Fee Component

Complete transparency on every cost involved in your Vanuatu citizenship application.

🏦

Government Contribution

The core investment paid to the Vanuatu government. For the DSP, this is a non-refundable contribution. For the CIIP, it includes a $50,000 redeemable component. Payments are made to the Central Bank of Vanuatu via secure, government-approved channels.

🔍

Due Diligence Fee

$5,500 per applicant, paid to cover the cost of background checks conducted by the Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). This fee covers criminal history, sanctions, and adverse media screening for each person included in the application.

📄

Processing & Document Fees

Approximately $3,500 per applicant, covering document translation, notarisation, certified copies, ID card issuance, birth certificate registration, and administrative processing by the Citizenship Commission.

📷

Biometric Enrolment

$1,000 per person if conducted in Vanuatu (Port Vila), or $3,000 per person at authorised locations such as Dubai. This covers fingerprinting, photograph capture, and the Oath of Allegiance ceremony.

💼

Professional Service Fee

Our advisory fee covers the entire application management — from initial consultation, document preparation, and legal review through submission, government liaison, and passport delivery. Quoted separately during consultation.

💳

Payment Structure

Payments are typically structured as 25% upon application submission, with the remaining 75% due upon receiving approval from the Citizenship Commission. This protects your investment.

Which Programme Offers Better Value?

The answer depends on your specific circumstances:

Choose DSP if you are:

  • A single applicant (DSP is $130,000 vs CIIP's $165,000)
  • A couple without children ($150,000 vs $165,000)
  • Looking for the lowest upfront cost
  • Not concerned about recovering any investment

Choose CIIP if you are:

  • A family of 3-4 ($165,000 covers all, vs DSP's $180,000)
  • Interested in partial investment recovery ($50,000 back after 5 years)
  • Looking for the lowest net cost over 5 years ($115,000 effective)
  • Comfortable with a higher upfront cost for long-term savings

Our advisory team will provide a personalised cost analysis based on your family composition and investment preferences during your free consultation.
